Jahara Technique

The Jahara technique was developed by Mario Jahara while working as a Watsu therapist. With his experience in tái chi and other martial arts, Jahara adapted the aquatic work for the therapist to always apply the four most important prinicples to the client: expansion, support, effortlessness and invisibilty. Utilizing a float, or “third arm,” the therapist is able to apply this technique to a person of any size or stature. The final effect for the receiver is a sense of lightness, freedom and total relaxation.
